idle minds, keep you blind they save your soul rarely check, check the time, what's your crime for? victim of the war crawling on the floor try to get up slowly my body strapped to stone, blade at my bone your swinging pendulum, to die is to succumb ropes that tie me down, your guilty crown and swinging pendulum, salvation never comes don't forget your bounty go collect the skin my body strapped to stone, blade at my bone your swinging pendulum, to die is to succumb ropes that tie me down, your guilty crown and swinging pendulum, salvation never comes victim of the war crawling on the floor try to get up slowly don't forget your bounty go collect the skin

read all the words in this book before thought i'd discover something more peace for the soul, food for the mind lessons learned left behind burn this city, burn this city burn this city to the ground how did this all happen so fast? started ahead, finishing last thoughts of a slowly aging man fading away wasn't part of the plan burn this city, burn this city burn this city to the ground it all falls down, it all falls i don't know how this started i don't know what went wrong i'm left here broken hearted i'm crumbling to the ground burn this city, burn this city burn this city to the ground it all falls down, it all falls somebody said it would end this way brick to dust and night to day somebody said we're supposed to die nobody told me exactly why burn this city, burn this city burn this city… down it all falls down, it all falls

about

Moniker's fourth EP is a swirling galactic epic, showcasing the band's reach across the audible spectrum - a focal point of two themes that create an experimental sonic state highlighted by texture-filled soundscapes, droning melodies, and blasts of syncopated rhythm. These elements combine to form a chain reaction of songs stretching from cautious ballads to zealous calls for war - each song a battle for the attention of the modern listener reachable only through instantaneous communication.

Directly inspired by Orson Scott Card's classic sci-fi novel Ender's Game, "Ansible" is a prog-rock concept album that explores issues of social suffocation, technological misuse, and individual guilt throughout an accelerating universe.
